Intelligent and Trusted Battery Bank in Virtual Power Plant

Dr. Xiaoyi Fan: the CTO of Jiangxing Intelligence Inc.

Virtual Power Plant (VPP) provides a value-based power exchange for the independent power producers who operate decentralized, medium-scale power generating units (PGU) such as wind farms, solar parks, and combined heat and power units. To achieve an optimized monetization, a storage system, called Battery Bank, is used to save the extra power generated by flexible renewable energy. This talk will introduce a blockchain-based edge-computing framework to build an intelligent and trusted battery bank for VPP managers, aiming to distinguish evil PGU and dispatch power smartly.
